BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIGGERJoining the ALA is an excellent opportunity to give back. The ALA supports Veterans, families, and the community. We teach patriotism, arrange special events, perform fundraisers, cook dinners, make care packages, and a multitude of other activities at or around The Post. All of our activities are of course in line with National and Department goals. We work closely with the VA in Long Beach, as well as with other Auxiliary units. Unit 555 strives to be a participating member of the Post Family, and we are always trying to keep our projects fun!
Unit 555 always welcomes new members, fresh ideas, and help! If this sounds like something that you might be interested in, please sign up: |
SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY
Whether your level of participation is totally active (volunteering at the Post, cooking, recruiting, etc), occasionally stopping in to help out, serve some dinners, build a care package, taking part in Auxiliary activities and events (supporting any Auxiliary events, 555 or any Unit), or simply supporting via donation, there is a place for everyone. We all help out when and where we can, and together we are the ALA.
